Corndel Leadership and Management Programmes are accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). On completion, the CMI will award you the CMI certificate in Management and Leadership or the CMI Award in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice, based on the programme you undertake. You will also achieve Foundation Chartered Manager, Chartered Manager or Chartered Fellow Status (Depending on managerial experience).

FAQ's

How long do the programmes last?
• The Corndel Level 5 Diploma programme is 13 months
• The Imperial & Corndel Executive Development programme is 15 months


What will I have to do?
You will have access to videos and textbooks covering core content via Corndel’s online learning platform. Using these each week, you will explore one topic and undertake short focussed tasks to apply concepts to your role. Each month, you will have a one-to-one session with your Professional Development expert. Corndel is also working with your L&D team to ensure the Diploma is tailored to your organisation. This may include bespoke workshops focussing on key priorities.

What is the time commitment?
• A minimum of one-hour per month in one-to-one coaching with your Professional Development Expert, via video conferencing;
• Two hours per week doing online learning and associated tasks;
• Some time reflecting on your learning and preparing for coaching sessions
• Typically, you will also spend five to six hours of your normal working week putting new learning from the Diploma into practice in your workplace (e.g. planning team briefings, scheduling workflows, reviewing others’ performance, communicating objectives). We will record these activities as a key component of the Diploma.
 
Government eligibility requirements:
• Be a UK resident and live in England 50% of the year
• Have lived in the EU for the previous 3 years continuously
• Not be enrolled in full time education
• Not be currently participating in another apprenticeship programme
